Calling all makeup junkies! I received an email from MAC cosmetics (I signed up for the free shipping) about their newest collection which I just have to share. It's called Baroque Boudoir and this fabulous collection has just been unleashed today. How I would love to get my hands on that powder and the pink lipstick! I'm not just saying that because the packaging is fabulous either! Ah well! The holidays are nigh, so you might just want to add this to your wish list, perhaps some rake would lovingly bestow it on you.

More Hair How-to's
We all dream of a fabulous pouf. In the past I found this fabulous video of how to style yourself an 18th century coiffure. Well, that's a bit time consuming and not all of us have long hair. That's why you need a good wig. Those also get expensive and sometimes look cheap. We can't have that! Maria found this great site that gives step by step instructions on how to make your own pouf wig and it makes you want to hop on ebay and grab a wig right away. I also heard somewhere that it's best to buy those spray-on Halloween hair dyes in white and grey to get the powdered look. Now all there is to figure out it what kind of hairdo would you have? A la enfant? A la l'inoculation? There is too many possibilities.

18th Century Beauty Essential
If you recall Lauren's holiday giveaway was scented powder samples that she had made. You can now purchase these powders at Plumes and Pearls on Etsy. Each scent is modeled after a fabulous lady of the Eighteenth century. Georgiana's scent smells like vanilla with hints of spices. Mmm yum! I think they're absolutely fabulous, so if you need a new scent to fluff on in the morning or puff in your hair at night, head over to the shop!
