For Sale

More bookspotting for tonight! Yale University Press is having a 50% off selected books sale. My personal recommendation: The Notorious Muse: The Actress in British Art and Culture 1776-1812. Don't miss out on these deals either!

  1. Waaaaaaaaaaaaant that book! But $70? Ouch >_< Even with a half price sale I don't think I can manage it this week (stupid rent...). It has been officially wishlisted though. I'll have to remember to float it when people ask me for holiday gift suggestions.

  2. I know, it's painful. I did the same thing. I went to buy it and then immediately withdrew due to other monetary obligations. Maybe next week...

  4. Boy, you are good at this! There are so many great books at Yale. Did you notice the book on cats and dogs in Impressionist art? (Of course, I don't know how you feel about the Impressionists.) There's also a book on satirical prints in the Hogarth era. And the list goes on....At least I'm not alone in my need to take care of business first.

Oh, and Amazon has another book to pine for: Spectacular Flirtations: Viewing the Actress in British Art and Theatre, 1768-1820.
