She is gorgeous! I wish we knew more about this painting!

But if we were doing yay or nay I would have to give it a nay - that headdress just isn't doing it for me!

I'm sure I was reading about this lady in a magazine recently.... can't remember which mag but I'll try and search it out from the paper mountains round the house! :O)

If we were doing yay or nay this would be a definite yay.
There are so little paintings of men and women of african heritage during the 18th century. I'd definitely like to see more.
