Woops! Please excuse my tardiness in delivering the news of
Olga Zherebtsov's victorious Yay. Although her hair may have earned her a nay Olga's good taste in clothes won many over. For this late-edition of Yay or Nay we will leave the cold country of Russia for the warm coasts of Spain.
Francisco Goya paints
Doña María Josefa Alonso-Pimentel y Téllez-Girón (1785) in her blue polonaise and straw hat. Yay or Nay?

ReplyDeleteRip that big pink bow off the front of that gorgeous dress. I don't care it's supposed to tie the hat to the dress as far as matching. It's awful there. And get rid of those horrid gloves.
ReplyDeleteBeyond those two minor quibbles from me, she gets a yay!
YAY !!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love it! Love it! Yay!
ReplyDeleteYay. I'm always partial to blue, and I like the hat.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous. Total yay!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt about it, YAY!
ReplyDeleteI love the dress! It really really flatters her figure in my opinion. And the hat is just cute.
Beautiful gown - love the colour. Not sure about the hat, however
ReplyDeleteThe bow is awful, the colour doesn't suit her-in my opinion, the hat is just-urgh.
ReplyDeleteNAY!
yes, I LIKE it
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely a yay for the beautiful dress, although the giant hat simply emphasizes her gaunt face. (And my brother would like me to state that he considers her nose to be an abomination.)
ReplyDeleteI love love love the dress, the hat, the bows, the lace, all of it. I just can't figure out why they thought that hair was an attractive look. But I give her a big Yay (see comments about dress;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the dress without the big pink bow, it looks out of place. yay anyways :)
