The Duchess of Rutland was a badass. The quote is from when the Rutlands first moved to Ireland and had a party lifestyle there where they were up all night. She may or may not have suffered a miscarriage at the time which may have had something to do with the comment.
Can you start with "Tart of the Week" again? It is still many fabolous tarts which it hasn`t been written about yet! Anne, Duchess of Cumberland, Elizabeth Hamilton, Countess of Derby, Elizabeth Billington (Yhe Dss of Rutland?) etc!
