Charming! But why are those cups turned upside down? Are they not used or used? And I was taught strictly as a child not to leave my teaspoon in the cup as that was a) vulgar and b) a sailor would meet his death at sea if I did!
the shape of a tea cup is inherently comforting is it not?
It truly is comforting, even to non-tea drinkers I think!I believe it is a piece capturing post tea time, which is unusual and probably what makes it so charming!
