More Modern Rococo

Another pretty Etsy find for bare walls! Amber Alexander has some lovely watercolor prints of animals. But some of my favourites of her work for sale are of animals and Georgian women. They remind me of fairy tale illustrations. Take a look, enjoy, and remember no money is ever wasted supporting artists!

  1. That is so beautiful. I looked at the artist's work and I really like it. Her prices wont blow the bank balance apart either. It's nice to own a unique piece rather than the mass produced items that are all over the place. Thank you for reminding me about Etsy as there are loads of gorgeous things there and, as my birthday is approaching, I will start looking now! Hee-hee :D

  2. I agree with Lesley all the way. I can't believe her prices, either. With the added bonus that this portrait is kind of an updated (and friskier!) version of Holbein's Lady with a squirrel. Or Leonardo's Lady with an Ermine. Heehee.

I also like the reading bear and Let Them Eat Tuna. I wish my cats would let me dress them but I value my life.
