The Wonderful Everyday?

IKEA's latest commercial is an absolute delight! I won't say anything further; check it out for yourself.

Karl Lagerfeld Gives us More Versailles for 2014 Fashion

First Dior created this makeup 'Trianon' line which instantly drained my bank account  Now Karl Lagerfeld is photographing his new spring season on models with the most divine poufs.  I can't help but be behind this marketing move 100%.

Is anyone else being distracted from the clothes due to coiffure-envy?  Well you can buy those too!  Let's hope someone sports a pouf on the red carpet this season.  Not you, Gaga.

Check out the whole series of photos here.

Bowie, Venetian Masquerades, and Designer Clothes

...What more could a girl want?  Louis Vuitton have taken a brash marketing move in directly targeting ME for their new campaign.

Does anyone else relate to the protagonist in this? Don't we all do this when we visit historic sites?

Cereal and the French Revolution

These poor fops...not even the Scarlet Pimpernel can save them now!

Kind of a grim topic for breakfast cereal, no?

Another Eighteenth-Century Car Commercial

Lauren posted this commercial on Pinterest and I had to share it.  If we are to believe this commercial, nothing gets a colonial gals' blood flowin' like an Italian "invasion."  It still can't beat the Dodge commercials but I love seeing our favourite era on tv...even if they are a bit ridiculous ridiculous.

Minuet or Morgan?

1661 it most certainly is not, but an eighteenth century commercial it is!  It's about time that the dashing pirate from the bottle was personified.

Cheese that Stimulates the Coversation

Thanks to an anonymous tip from a lovely reader I was introduced to this fantastic commercial.  Did you go to your fridge looking for a bit of cheese? I know I did!

Insurance for your Sedan...Chair

I got a nice email from reader, Florence who directed me to an eighteenth-century themed commercial that those like myself in the Colonies may have missed.  Its operatic theme reminds me of those awful JG Wentworth commercials!  If only those had more wigs and sedan chairs.

The Lady-Love of the Blacksmith's Son

Considering my mysterious love of Dodge muscle cars I am convinced that I may have pitched the idea of this commercial myself...I just don't remember doing it.  This could just be the best commercial yet.

Dodge and its fabulous sports cars have a history of 18th century themed commercials of awesomeness.  Remember the Challenger one?

The Redcoats' Last Stand

With all the crappy American Revolution-themed commercials I keep seeing on my television (cough cough Citizens Bank) I was leery when this commercial came on.

But as you can see, it is a worthy 18th century-themed commercial. Enjoy!

Have You Seen this Yet?

Clothing? Deoderant? Cotton? What could this seemingly fabulous commercial be for?

More 18th Century Commercials

Blogging and waiting for your nails to dry at the same time is not a good idea, but I couldn't wait to pass this on. The lovely Johanna at 18th Century Blog just posted these icecream commercials which, strangely enough, could be clips from my daily routine! Enjoy them below and be sure to pop over and visit Johanna and thank her for putting the commercials on Youtube!

Eighteenth Century Gossip...Commercial!

I'm not a fan of MTV (so as soon as this clip goes on Youtube, I'm there) and I haven't the faintest on who Alexa Chung is (or why she gets her own show) but this is a fun clip from her new ad campaign. Extra points if you can identify the gossipy ladies in the commercial!

Note: If you can't view the video because MTV is ridiculous, you might want to just click on the links in included in the text to see it. I guess MTV only pretends to share, and you can only take Hanes ads for so long.

Marie and Marilyn Dancers, Who could ask for More?

This is AWESOME. I have never seen an episode of Nip/Tuck, but I think I could watch their promo commercial FOREVER. Check it out.
